Magnetic iPad Cases Are the Most Popular - Shopping - Gifts

Upon the release of the iPad 2 in March of 2011, Apple decided to release their own iPad 2 cover. This case is very popular among iPad 2 users for a variety of reasons, including its magnetic technology and ability to transform into an iPad 2 stand with multiple viewing angles. There are a lot of ipad cases that have been designed to provide multiple viewing angles for ease of use, but there aren't many that have been able to effectively incorporate the "magnetic" technology that "wakes up" your iPad when the cover is removed and puts the device to "sleep" when applied. Take a look at a few of the newest cases that incorporate the "sleep/wake" feature, which is turning out to be sought after among iPad 2 users.

Cyber Acoustics iPad 2 Folio

This case has it all. It incorporates all of the "folio" design features that iPad users love, along with the magnetic "sleep/wake" feature of the Apple Smart Cover. You will be able to retire your old cover that only protectd the screen of your device, along with the hard shell case you were using to protect the back of the device, and use this case to gain all the features of both cases. Cyber Acoustics has only released this case in leather, but keep your eyes open for a fabric version soon. The case is available in red and black leather.

iFrogz Summit The iFrogz Summit case for iPad 2 is one of the newest cases on the market! It is also a folio-type holder with multiple viewing angles. The look of the case is very similar to that of the Cyber Acoustics case but this one is actually more expensive than the Cyber Acoustics iPad 2 folio. The front cover of this case is filled with magnets that achieve the same "wake/sleep" feature as Apple's cover. This case comes in a variety of "cool" colors and matches other iFrogz products and accessories. It is important to note that both of these cases are very new to the iPad 2 accessory market. They are not made to work with the Apple's magnetic cover, but rather act as a replacement for it.

If you want to continue using the cover you bought with your iPad 2 (since you have already paid for it) you will want to consider a hard shell case that will work together with your first cover. ipad cases, manufacturers are starting to come out with a lot of these types of cases.
