Unformat Hard Drive to Recover files From Formatted Hard Drive - Computers - Data Recovery

A hard disk drive records data by magnetizing a thin film of ferromagnetic material on a disk. User data are encoded into a run-length limitedcode and the encoded data written as a pattern of sequential magnetic transitions on the disk. The data are represented by the time between transitions. The self-clocking nature of the run-length limited codes used enables the clocking of the data during reads. The data are read from the disk by detecting the transitions and then decoding the written run-length limited data back to the user data. Disk formatting is the process of preparing a hard disk drive or flexible disk medium for data storage. In some cases, the formatting operation may also create one or more new file systems. The formatting process that performs basic medium preparation is often referred to as "low-level formatting." The term "high level formatting" most often refers to the process of generating a new file system. In certain operation systems (e.g., Microsoft Windows), the two processes[clarification needed] are combined and the term "format" is understood to mean an operation in which a new disk medium is fully prepared to store files. Illustrated to the right are the prompts and diagnostics printed by MS-DOS's FORMAT.COM utility as a drive is being formatted. Note that format a drive doesn't erase the data on this drive, only the data on the address tables, something like the marks of this data in partition table. Do not be panic, however, if you accidentally formatted a hard drive which has important data. A unformat hard drive software should be able to recover most, if not all, of the information on the disk. You can also download unformat hard drive software that enables you to recover formatted hard drive by yourself. Data recovery is the process of salvaging data from damaged, failed, corrupted, or inaccessible secondary storage media when it cannot be accessed normally. Often the data are being salvaged from storage med ia such as internal or external hard disk drives, solid-state drives (SSD), USB flash drive, storage tapes, CDs, DVDs, RAID, and other electronics. Recovery may be required due to physical damage to the storage device or logical damage to the file system that prevents it from being mounted by the host operating system.
